My wifes got rejected in India so I appealed and I finally have a date set for in March.

What is there to expect when I go there?
What kind of questions will I be asked?
How long is it?
Do they tell me if I have been approved or rejected right there and then?

People have been telling me that a lot of people get rejected, im worried now

Please help me out

Thanks very much.

If you haven't already hired a lawyer, you may want to look into it. You don't need a lawyer at the appeal but it's better to have one.

We haven't had our appeal yet but from what I hear they vary a lot, some can take an hour others the entire day all depending on how complex the case, what evidence you present, questions the minister's council has, questioning your wife via teleconference...etc...etc.

So, I think that the answer to your question is expect anything and be prepared to prove your case with stong evidence.

I have also read that in some cases the decision is made then and there at the appeal in other cases written submissions were asked for and then a decision made at a later date.
