It might be helpful if you'd tell us what CIC (or VO?) said when they refused you, and at which stage in your application were you refused?

Under which category (FSW1/FSW2 etc) did you apply?

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

Thanks u Cappuccino for ur reply..

I made the application in Oct, 2009 and got the file no. in Dec,2009 (was instructed to submit the documents to London office within 120days).
I submitted all the documents in March,2010.
Got the refusal letter Aug, 2010.

I do not have offer of employement from Canada.

pls. advice me for further process as I want to go ahead for requesting the re-assessment of the case.

regards,
Udaya

Yes you can appeal to the court but not YOU, your LAWYER. Only lawyers can, not even immigration consultants. It should be appealed within I beilieve 60 days of your refusal. But the point is I do not know exactly as your file did not even enter processing and you were not refused. You just were rejected, didnot you?

immigration officer has mentioned in the letter about refusal.....
i suppose initially at CIO all the documents r getting check for the application and back ground check only can verify that...
which will start after satisfication of immigration officer, in my case he is not satisfied with that and has refused to proceed further..
refusal has come from VO not from CIO.

how much a lawyer will cost for this type of case?

can anybody suggest me about the lawyer?
