Thanks Ahmed for your assistance, Infact Ahmed is also the name of my son but he is too young, anyway I belong to Hyderabad, Sindh, u might heard about it. I think i should try to get it by the start of 2010, so i will not miss my precious time in obtaining it when i recieve AOR from CIO, procedure looks simple but as u said in Pakistan "Gur is lazmi" otherwise lot of hinderences.

Keep updating and all the best to u.

Yar me too sent application on 4th Nov 2009 and received their in NS on 10th Nov 2009. Realistically we should look by the end of January of early Feb for AOR.

I sent my 1st application on 17th that was received on 21st but I got some mistakes in there so I resent it within 2 weeks time.

Hi,

How u have realized that u have did a mistake, did CIO inform u, according to my knowledge with each new application or resend application, one must pay the fees as well, how this works with u? looks confusing.
As for AOR 60 to 70 days waiting period is realistic, than alarm signs on.

 @  jakram

I have applied with credit card details both times with covering letter so I hope they charge my card only once. BTW I can always block another transaction if by chance they approve my 1st application and charge my CC for the first time.

Had I applied through DD, I would have to wait until they return it back or risk sending another one.

Thanks

Blocking CC, make sure your bank can do it, as i have confirmed from my Banks they only block CC in the case Card is lost or stolen and reported by applicant, then they issue new card, Fraud investigation department also jumps in, so i mean to say lot of issues in blocking, its not just closing and openeing as i was thinking as well before confirmation by bank. U must have Gold card, its very risky, make sure u have availed Credit card alert facility both on mobile phone and email as well. DD is considered to be very safe contrarily.
All the best!

 @ jakram

Thanks for your concerns buddy, by blocking the card I meant blocking certain transaction. 1100 CAD is huge amount and CC companies tend to allow/block certain transactions based on spending behavior and profiling. I have to call HSBC guys explicitly to request them to allow any such transaction if it goes through. I can ask them to block another.

I work in a bank, I know how to manipulate things but offcourse legitimately Smiley

Thanks

Dear jakram

As far as the knowledge of mistakes about the application forms is concerned, You can find out your mistakes, if any, by checking the photocopies of your application forms.
Please read the following thread of this forum, started by roopa, whose application was sent back and then go through your application carefully.

Wish you all the best.

Dear Ommkumar desai

All the document other than in English or French are to be translated into one of these two languages (English or French). The Translation has to be notorized.
I mean the translation should bear the stamp of Notory Public.

Best Wishes for you and your brother.

As per current timeline You should have received your AOR by now. What worries me is that why your credit card has not been charged so far.
Keep your hopes alive.
AOR is by email.
Applications which are not recommended for further processing by CIO are returned by mail.( That is what I have understood by reading the posts on this forum)

Best Wishes
Ahmad
