VISA ISSUED...: 20-01-2012
LANDED..........: Planned for the third week of May'12

I understand that the AOR is received in 2-3 weeks after the application is received at CIO in N/S. I want to know this...

When we receive the AOR do we also get a file number to check the online status of our application? If ofcource it was assessed to an application fit for further processing?

Waiting for more info on this...

Yes, you can check your E-case using 1st AOR issued by CIO, after submiting your full documents in your country Canada CHC (visa office) they will issued another 2nd AOR (after review your full-documents) using this 2nd AOR you can ask or query to your local VO and 2nd AOR is only way to communicate with your local visa office, both 1st and 2nd aOR will helps you to check your e-case status on CIC website.
