Wink hello anyone who can help me in this regards ihave a situation that i wanna marry my girlfriend in the philippines im currently divorced on my 1st wife but divorced is not honoured at the philippines what way should i do to get my girlfriend as soon as possible?

Where you married in the Philippines and got divorced in Canada?  Where you a citizen already when you were granted the divorce?

Reason I ask is this:

1.  If you are only a permanent resident when you were granted the divorce, yes you still have to file for an annulment there
2.  If you are a Canadian citizen, then no you can go ahead and get married there, you just need to bring the proof when you acquired Canadian citizenship and the divorce certificate

Another thing you can do which I think is the best option for you is to get married outside the Phils.  You can get married in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore.

there is a BUT to no.2

If the Canadian citizen was previously married to a filipina - even if he is a natural-born Canadian- for the purpose of remarriage to a Filipina marrying in the Philippines, he should file for Petition for the Recognition of a Foreign Judgment of Divorce at the Regional Trial Court .That is the only way his divorce will be recognized in the Philippines.
