Anyone is waiting for the LMO from QC? (new profession process)

is there anyone waiting for the LMO from QC?
there is a new application process named like "Professions" from 1st April, 2011. And i submitted the application in April but didn't not receive any reply. If there anyone got the new LMO already?

I don't know much about the new application process...

the employer who submited it should contact Services Canada. You cannot apply uself and thus calling them won't help. Ask your boss to  phone and ask for a reference no. If you don't get the decision on lmo within last 2 weeks from WP expiry date then send off the application with CAQ & Ref# for LMO to CIC.

I tried to call them for the LMO progress and they said that it's in process. And I called them this week and they said that they required employer to call them, not employee. 

It's been 5 months after I submitted the LMO application for the temporary work offer. So, I should ask my employer to call them? and get a file number?


ae03yy, you mean that I do have to wait for receving the LMO reply can I can submit the work permit application to CIC directly with the attachments of LMO application form copies and the file no. of that?

Do I need to know FRENCH if I want to apply for jobs in QC? If my company hires me with french but during visa interview they can ask me about french?
