Hi trent, im pretty sure you received first stage approval which means they have approved your sponsor. The PR application will now be processed and soon they will ask you to submit your medicals and background check along with PR fee. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply Liz64, when I first sent in my application I included my freshly done medical exam, and on ecas its said for a while now medical results recieved, here is my timeline
Also during this time I reiceved letters from immigration canada to continue it with quebec, i got the quebec approval, which was then forwarded by quebec back to the immigration office.
We received your application for permanent residence on
February 6, 2009.
We started processing your application on
February 26, 2009.
Medical results have been received.
We received the requested information on
October 6, 2009.
Thank you for providing the information. (police report)
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.
We sent you a letter on
October 20, 2009
to **** about the decision on your application
I recieved this letter which tells me now quebec will be in contact with me regarding my pr, and I should pay the fee at this time when I will be aksed to met them.
Thankyou to anyone who can offer any insight into this for me :)
