I will really appreciate if some one guide me that if someone had served in the military in the past, his/her application will take more time in processing, how long it take for verification.
I submitted my full application in first week of June but uptill now no response where as most of the people who submitted in June are getting response & even who submitted in July are being verified.

It depends on the countries military you belonged too.  If it was a country that has been fighting then they are interested in the possibility that the person that served in an unit that may have been involved in internal/external civil right violations.  It really depends on the country and the unit that the person served in.  Other background checks by CSIS delve into any organizations/person that the applicant may have had an involvement in.
