Hi All,
I would like to know whether anyone got their FSW approval under NOC 0632, My Designation is Airline Supervisor with all the responsibility matching with NOC 0632.
I am planning to apply under NOC 0632, what should I do. I am exactly matching with NOC 0621 roles and responsibilities, but unfortunately, I cannot apply under NOC 0621 as this is not a part of 38 ministerial instruction list.
I request some experts to help me or advice me further. What kind of work experience certificate is required by Visa offices.
Thanks AK

I applied under 0632, and I recently received request for medicals. 0632 is for Accomodation Service Managers, or hotel/motel/hostel/lodging industry managers. It has more to do with accomodations than with food. However, 0631 is for Restaurant Managers and people involved in the food service industry, and it's also on the 38 list. Please look at duties for both occupations carefully and apply under the one that matches closely with your current occupation.

Hi guys,
I have a similar question. I'm also applying for skilled worker immigration & i have work experience as both 0631 & 0632. At what point in the application do you actually nominate the particular category you are applying under?
Is this done after the initial application has been approved & referred to your local high commission? The only place NOC codes are mentioned is in the Schedule 3 form & i've mentioned both 0631 & 0632 there. Do you have to declare one paritcular NOC in your application & if so at what point? Thanks for the help.

If I am not mistaken, more than one NOC code can be used to file an application as long as they are on the 38 list. However, it is the responsibility of the applicant to prove that duties performed fall under all declared NOC codes. It is important to look at duties requried for each NOC code and make sure that your documents reflect most if not all duties for any particular NOC.

Hi Caloy and Everyone,
I am a UK citizen and have recently sent my application to CIC, NS, Sydney under the category of Restaurant Manager and waiting for AOR. Caloy, I have got a quick question for you and perhaps you can help me.
I have around 6 years of expreince as Restaurant Manager but since last 18 months I work as Recruitment Consultant for Hospitality and IT industry. I have spoken to a few consultant and they have advised me it would be fine but just a sanity check from you. Do you think I still qualify under 0631?
My ex-boss is willing to provide me with a reference letter but the problem would be payslip from back then. I can certinaly provide last 6 payslip from my current work but do not have any older payslips.
What do you suggest? Please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Mitz

I applied under 0631 too - it's present more than 4 years of experience. But the previous years i worked under another NOC which is not under 38 occupations, would it be OK? Doc's are sent end of March 2010, no AOR yet, still praying & waiting.
