Anyone from Sydney VO who applied after 01/01/2011

Hi Ritu,
I have no complain with the staff at VO. They were good and nice. I also enquire about my progress at that time they said that we recieved ur application and once it is handled by case office they will contact you.

By the way which city are you from? I think its better to go to CHC to enquire rether than mailing them? At least you will get instant respond. What do u think.

Hi,

No they didn't ask me any doc in the letter sent by sydney VO. Even I'm surprised that if you are living in Aus for soo long and keep renewing your visa then why you haven't show your all visa copies, it doesn't make any sense why you try to not provide all or complete information about your status mean....your visa.....maybe it make suspisious in VO mind and they ask you to provide all details about your old visa copies....never try to smart or hide anything with immigration....be truthfull and understand with the mind of immigration department and try to provide all documents or mean completeeeeeeeee information.

Because I Have already submitt my complete visa information from A to Z, that's why they haven't asked me anything new....I'm living in Aus from 2007....where are you from....country....

I have heard like there is only three visa officers for sydney VO but no stat for how many application are made on sydney vo.

My second AOR was on 04/05/2011..... don't worry your case will also be in process soon...I think you have job offer?? then your can be process more faster than???

 @  Hi Weteyes, Ohh I don't know that Sydney VO have a customer service section also and you can go ask about your status etc.... Can I know the timings etc... If possible then i prefer to give my passport by hand for visa stamping and take back personally then....what you say???

But dear it already been more than 2 months since I have received my 2nod AOR...........that is why I am little worried...............But I am pretty sure god will save us all......and bless us always.

What was the timeline for her/him? That is good news.

 @ canadatoaustralia,

Dont know about the passport but if you have any quries then you can visit the office. The address and opening hrs for immigration are

CHC,
5/111 Harrington st,
Sydney 2000.

Opening hrs: 9 am to 12 noon ( mon-thrus)

You need to go to level 6, there is waiting room and reception.

( when i was there to update my address, i meet one guy who applied before july 10 was submitting additional documents like change of his condition, letter and new ielts result. I didnt ask him in detail but was saying it been more than 17 months of process.)

 @  Ritu: thanks for details...appreciated....hummmmm.....yes i think  and i hope i will get my MR soon because its "In Process" from 17th June" but how much time normally from In process to MR will take....specially after 26/6 applicants? any idea??? average time....so that i will be prepared....

My big confusion is....I'm international student now and i have to submitt my next semester fee next week end...and when this semester will start in July second week...will end up in December before christmas....so mean i can be locked ...if i got my canadian PR by the time... but can i be possible that i can get my PR within 2 or 3 months...if yes then maybe i have rush and meet lawyers...go guide some otherways to stay in Aus rather than study....I am in big tension regarding this....some say's that i have to wait approx six months till get my canadian visa on my hand...but say's no you can get very quick as per my timeline....??
