@ ritu, What was the timeline for her/him? That is good news. @ canadatoaustralia, Dont know about the passport but if you have any quries then you can visit the office. The address and opening hrs for immigration are Hey Weteyes, Thanks for your help  can i know that reaching VO in sydney is easily connected through public transport??? I'm new for sydney....did you know how to reach their from sydney domestic airport....just wondering??  Tina CHC, 5/111 Harrington st, Sydney 2000. Opening hrs: 9 am to 12 noon ( mon-thrus) You need to go to level 6, there is waiting room and reception. ( when i was there to update my address, i meet one guy who applied before july 10 was submitting additional documents like change of his condition, letter and new ielts result. I didnt ask him in detail but was saying it been more than 17 months of process.) |

Tina, I think only couple of weeks to get your MR dear....Don't worry, everything will be alrught........Wht is saying on your 2nd AOR means how many months mentioned in that?? regards Ritu @ Ritu: thanks for details...appreciated....hummmmm.....yes i think and i hope i will get my MR soon because its "In Process" from 17th June" but how much time normally from In process to MR will take....specially after 26/6 applicants?  any idea??? average time....so that i will be prepared.... My big confusion is....I'm international student now and i have to submitt my next semester fee next week end...and when this semester will start in July second week...will end up in December before christmas....so mean i can be locked ...if i got my canadian PR by the time... but can i be possible that i can get my PR within 2 or 3 months...if yes then maybe i have rush and meet lawyers...go guide some otherways to stay in Aus rather than study....I am in big tension regarding this....some say's that i have to wait approx six months till get my canadian visa on my hand...but say's no you can get very quick as per my timeline.... ?? |

just out of curiosity. sydney is a WORLD CLASS CITY, and AUSTRALIA is an amazing country. why would you still like to immigrate to canada ?
aren't u guys happy in sydney ? i have also heard that salaries in australia are better than canada. and AUS dollar is higher than CAN dollar. u guys still want to immigrate to canada ? why ?

You are right Australia is beautiful country but we are student here not PR and I can go to Canada where I can live alongwith my son and other family..... I hope this will help u to understand this fact...everyone has their own choice... regards Ritu guys

Hi it is pretty easy to get there as u will get direct train service to the nearby station. From domestic airport u need to board train to city and you have to alight at circular quay station or wynyard station. From there i think it will be better if you go on google maps and search or get direction for CHC from those station. It would be hard for me to explain the map.

Yea everyone says u r in Australia y have to move to canada but the fact is the Australian migration rule keep on changing like its weather which is famous for uncertainity. Been here for almost 5 years and now to get PR need to move different state so canada would be better option rather than regional area of australia.
@ tina,
There is no certain about the medicals as ihave mention above that one of my fren got medical request without recieving 2nd AOR. Till now accordong to timeline of others i think they will request you for medical soon might be couple of weeks as ritu have said.
