I submitted my application on 29th may 2007 and yesterday, 11th june 2007, I got my first letter. They say they will start processing on my application approximately 42-48 months later.

I visited the web site and it said that in singapore most cases take 36 months then why did they say 42-48 months?

Or its just a computer print out?

Where are you from? After how many days did you receive your first letter? According to the letter approximately how months will be needed?

I am from Dhaka and I applied in Singapore in April'2004. After 1 month, I got their reply saying that processing time is 16-36 months. Since then 37 months have been passed and still no news from them. My uncle in Canada told me that my case may be re-open at the beginning of year 2008.

Congratulations........Could you please let us know some info chronologically date wise
when have you got AOR after submission?, then when have you got the second reply from
the CIC? Has your interview been waived? Have you got medical papers with waiver letter?
If not waiver then where was you interview held, home or Singapore?
What are the related papers they (CIC) asked you to submit? etc, etc. etc.?

Raquib Bhai,

Could you pls tell us whether visa office asked to submit police clearance and proof of fund/bank statement or any other documents (what you have submitted earlier) for 2nd time and also pls advise whether any enquiry made by the visa office regarding your present status/profession/education and others, if so could you understand that during inquiry..? actually I giving importance inquiry against profession, because maximum company do not allow/encourage their employee to do so.

Any other person, would request you pls share your experience on this...

Congratulations once again to hear that you already have your passport and Visa in your hand.
Two more questions:

1. what was further papers they (CIC) requested you to submit which mentioned in your 2nd Letter?
2. In which letter CIC mentioned your interview has been waived, 1st or 2nd Letter?

Have a nice migration in Canada.

There is no mention of interview waiver in the letter. They simply asked for passport in the letter.

The additional papers they requested for are:

Police certificate.
Bank Statement.
Landing Fees
