Hi, I applied in July 2010. My application was received on the 19th of July to sydney- NS, I am paying via CC, but still my CC has not been charged. The application package has not been returned also. Can anyone tell me what is happening?  ? Is there any one in similar situ? ? my visa office is london and my NOC is 3112. I suppose if there was (is) something wrong with my application, it should have been returned already, as we have seen many people whose applications were returned..............plz share, if someone else is in similar situation..... seniors plz comment. Thanks in advance... |

Hi Noolan: You are not alone! Our friend's app was recvd 26 July, BD not cashed yet. Grateful NOT to have had the pkg returned by wk 9 and hopeful that this means the BD will soon be taken. Stay strong! Cheers.

Hi Noolan: You are not alone! Our friend's app was recvd 26 July, BD not cashed yet. Grateful NOT to have had the pkg returned by wk 9 and hopeful that this means the BD will soon be taken. Stay strong! Cheers.
Thanks Pippin. The thing is i am paying via CC and even the people who applied in the start of September, their CC have been charged. I wished they had returned it before, if they do return it now, I will not have the time to make it in time because of 1000 quota. Any thoughts?? |

I would not assume your app will be returned. While it would be wonderful to know that fees had already been charged, there is no reason to believe that all the apps that remain will not be accepted. If you read the other threads you will find SO MANY who applied many months before July that still wait to have charges and AOR, etc. CIO are snowed under with paperwork. One person said they had a 300 page application!!!! Can't imagine having to wade through all those pages at work every day. Give the officers time to do their work carefully and look forward to each day as it comes (easier said than done some days, right?) Cheers....

I would not assume your app will be returned. While it would be wonderful to know that fees had already been charged, there is no reason to believe that all the apps that remain will not be accepted. Hi jignesh!!!! I did call them on friday, but the lady simply refused to say anything. she was saying if i dont have my file number, there is nothing she can do....and asked me to wait for 12 weeks.... |

I nearly sent you a PM Noolan...wondered if you'd had any news on your CC being charged. Still no evidence from the bank that our friend's BD has been cashed. It is certainly trying our patience, and looks as if the cashing of any fees is slowing down. Let's hope we will be charged in the next wave. Hang in there.....you are in good company! Cheers.
