So that mean they are moving fast, I'm going to withdraw my application from Cairo Office and submit a new application to Syria Office under the new Rules.

Interview in Damascus :Oct 2008 and obtained CSQ
Sending file for Federal immg office in syria: Dec 2008
Federal file received: 21 Jan 2009 and in the Site it's mentioned "in process since 21 Jan2009"

Anybody knows when I should recieve the medical forms ?  How many months after receiving file number?

Hi Cyrus,

It seems you have applied by Quebec procedure, Isn't it?
I didn't understand, are you a new rule applicant under fast tarck system?

Hi Vahid and thanks for your reply.
I applied as skilled worker for Quebec in Dec 2007 by a lawyer in Montreal. The file has been sent to Damascus.
Then CIC in Damacus set an interview in Oct 2008 and I went to Damascus for this interview and I got the CSQ for Quebec.
Then I preparead the documents and sent it to Federal office in Damascus and I received the file number in 21 th of Jan 2009.

Just for info, I was living in France from 1986 till 1997 and obtained may diploma, BSand MS from Parsi university. So I applied as skilled worker for Quebec to have more chance.

Now I don't know how much time I have to wait to receive Medical request form. Some people say  I habe to wait 10  months some people say 15 months form 21 th of Jan2009.
Is it exact?

Hi cyrus71,

I have applied for CSQ in 28 November 2007. I am a Lebanese citizen. I have got my CSQ in October 2008, and then applied for PR Visa in November 2008. Then Canada Embassy in Damascus sent me AOR letter in 2 December (which is the start date of processing). I have knew that if you payed the landing fee before and presented all the application documents, the time needed to have the medical tests is between 7-9 months. I'm not sure about it, but I'm already in month 8. So I will keep you updated in case I get anything in the coming month.

All the best,
Tony
