Greeting to all!

I was applied as common-in law partner with my fiance's application (he's now currently husband Cheesy..actually we need to update our marital status once we receive file number)

Our application was received in Buffalo office on August 23, 2011 however it was returned on September 22 because of incompleted information.

So we refilled it in and sent it back right away...

I just checked with my bank whether our bank draft has been cashed out and yes! It was cashed out on October 25, 2011...

Just wondering if we are going to be okay......................................and when we are getting AOR and stuff...

Anyway want to share the timeline?..

Congratulations,

I sent my documents 13 Oct 2011 and they received it on 17 Oct 2011. After that I heard nothing. I am waiting for my file number.

I applied on Oct 14, 2011. Today they updated the status to "Application Received".

What is the next step? How long does it take to receive file number or medical?

Medical results received - Nov 28, 2011

So i'm waiting for the nest step.... I'm worried tooo

This is what it says on mine:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 1, 2011.
We started processing your application on October 6, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

Thanks for providing your information. May I ask how did you receive your file number and medical request?
I applied On 17 Oct 2011 and 1 month after they added this message that " We received your application for permanent residence on Oct 17, 2011"

I have not received any file number or email. Is this normal?

Hi Mari,

I received my AOR EXXXXXX number and the medical request by email from the Ott-Pilot on Oct 17, 2011 (abt 1.5 months after they updated to "We received your app on x/x/xxx")
I think yours might be coming soon! Wink

Hello,

I had applied under CEC graduate program

File received
August 17th

Got case number and medical
September 16

Now it says medical received but I dont know when they received it.

On my status all it says is

We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2011.
 
Medical results have been received.


I got my number in Sep 16 along with the request for medical exam
Does that mean they have begun processing my file after they received the medical, does any one know if the processing time for CEC as a graduate is still 9 months?
