HI ALL

i wanted to know if anybody has sent banker's draft for initial application from UK? Coz, i just wanted to see if my banker's draft was cleared from CIU in Sydney. i did the banker's draft from Lloyds TSb.

plz help if u can

Theres no way you can confirm if CIC has cashed your banker's draft especially with banks like Lloyds who dont have any branches in Canada.

Hi,

I have not send yet but was planning to do the same as you (get the banker draft from Llyod)..
But you can always contact local bank branch to get the info.
Let me know if you update from CIO sydney..and Good luck..

What's the problem Man?. Just send it in. What do you mean by if anyone's bank draft was cleared?.
Bank Drafts are a very secure means of payment anyway, so why the alarm.


Just send it in and stop wasting your time. All will be well.

hi BobbyB

i ahve already sent my applicaion & still waiting for AOR from CIU

i saw another member of this forum named 'JASSIN' & his DD got encashed but he didn't received any AOR until he enquired to CIU several times & CIU said that they already sent the AOR e-mail to 'JASSIN'S' email address but in reality 'JASSIN' didnt received that e-mail. So,  after several enquiries they sent him the AOR email again.

that's why i am a bit worried... if i can trace that the Bank Draft has been cashed & yet i haven't received any AOR within a few weeks i will have to enquire to CIU

so. plz guide if u can on this issue
