Hi guys,

Quick question...If you get nominanted under AINP:

1. Are you allowed to work only in Alberta province? If there are jobs in other regions, can you move without any restrictions?
2. The first time you land in Canada, does it have to be in Alberta only? I am wondering, i have friends in Toronto, can i enter in Toronto and give their initial address? or does it have to be in Alberta?

Thanks!

No, you are allowed to work anywhere but since your intent is to settle in Alberta, then only you are going to Alberta. Having said this, if you could not find a job, you are free to move anywhere. You may be asked to proove that you could not find a job in Alberta and that's why moved to Toronto or elsewhere. This is a grey area where they do not have explicit rules but they expect you to live, work in Alberta.

Yes, you have to land in Alberta only.

Thanks!

I can understand....No one will have any problems if one gets a job in ones own field. This is what I am hoping too Smiley
