Dear Forum,

Any suggestions/experience on how long does the Delhi office take to stamp the passport and send it back.
They received my passport in the month of august 2010 , its been close to  4 months.

I finished my Masters in Canada and was there in Canada for 3 years, after that i came back to India and again after an year i went to the U.S. on a work permit and was there for an year and again went to Canada on a visiting visa and stayed there for 9 months and came back to India, and once coming back from Canada  i have applied for my immigration under Arranged Employment Category in 2009 and they have requested for my medicals and RPRF (Landing Fee) with my FBI Nation Wide Police Clearance and i have updated them with all the requested documents 3 months back that is August 2010 but till now i dint get any update from them and the website says my case is still under process.

Please let me know if any one in the whole forum was in the same scenario and how long does it take for my Immigration.

Thanks.

cheers!

Pradeep the general Time for stamping is 60 days but this is where there has been no travel history to Canada

Canada travel history delays the file substantially and in some cases it has taken more than 6 months.

Hello Ankit,

Thanks for your reply but i have a small doubt don't you think that the Canadian High Commission would have inquired and double checked in the initial stages because i have already submitted my travel documents along with all the application packet and also browsing through some other sites made me think that the High Commission wouldn't hold the passport for not more than 4 months and in my case i am in a total dilemma.
Please suggest me what to do can i contact them and find out if its going to take some more time.

Thanks.

Pradeep.
