I am interested in finding out if a Temporary Foreign Worker whose work visa expired, laid off, and was able to find an employer, job offer and work visa - without going back to their country of origin.  Thanks.

I know of some people who did this several years ago but back then it was probably easier to get LMO's.

PR=Permanent resident - TFW=temporary foreign worker
FSW=federal skilled worker - QSW=Quebec skilled worker
AEO=arranged employment offer - LMO=labour market opinion
CEC=Canadian experience class - PNP=provincial nominee program

Personally I know of at least 50-60 cases
