I am in the early stages of sponsoring my husband from Lebanon- I sent the paperwork in the begining of August to the Missisauga office which says they take 54 days to review files. It looks like it will be a long process.

I wanted to ask you regarding the supplementary form Appendix A about the Military section, did your hubby give you an " Exemption certificate" or wara2et i3faa2? if so, after he got it translated in to English did he get it notarized??

My husband sent me the original exemption certificate translated but its not notarized, do you think that gonna be a problem if i just print and send as i have it?

Hi Tina!

yes he did send me his exemption certificate , he had to get the certificate signed by the army chief then he had to get it stamped at the defense ministry  then translated , thats the instruction we were given.
