Few South Africans on this forum, hard to find!

I'm from Mozambique, but my visa office it's Pretoria.
Doing Spouse Sponsorship(outland). Going pretty smooth now! Just double check everything before you send it.

Nice, How long have you been waiting?

We applied in August, received a letter from Pretoria stating that our application has been approved and interview waived. They are waiting for the last payment to be made(already did) and then wait for them to request the passport, visa stamped, that's it! I'm applying trough Quebec, so got an extra step (CSQ).

So nice to meet you guys. What are you doing theachrissy? inland or outland? Hope you get yours real fast! Smiley

I am not too sure with inland anymore because I don't think my fiances landlord will actually let me stay in the apartment for that long of a wait. Sad

Hopefully we will and yes my fiance because we're only getting married when I go back lol. Being apart is so heartbreaking. I'm still trying to get used to it.

Hi,

I am a South African and we applied for spousal sponsorship (Inland) back in May.  The processing times for Inland/outland was about the same thus us deciding on Inland.  I was very lucky to get a intra company transfer to Canada and I'm currently working but I can only work for my company which sucks as my job takes me away from home!  Can't wait to get approved so I can be with my hubby every night!!

Hello there,
Well it's true about the processing times for Inland/Outland, Pretoria has 19months of processing time. But we all know that ain't necessarily true, some applications get approved way less than that. We decided to do Outland, because if we did Inland I would have to stay without working or studying for some good couple of months,or even a year. So rather stay in my country, working and do some savings while our applications is being worked on (but sucks being away from my wife)..

wish you all the good luck on your application and hope you get to be with your hubby every single night Smiley

Thanks for your kind words  Smiley

It's so true about the processing times!

My heart aches for you to be away from your wife as I know exactly what you are talking about!

Good Luck for your application!
