Hi All
Honorable Immigration Minister Mr. rob Norris Addressed to Pakistani Community and answered the question of people on October 9, 2010, about the immigration issues specially IELTS, he said that Government of Saskatchewan is working tirelessly with Federal Government of Canada to resolve this issue as soon as possible, hopefully the solution will come out in near future. we are in contact with the Government of Saskatchewan and presenting the views of Pakistani community to them about the concerns of community, but the good news is that applicants received the letters from CIC Visa office London and they did not ask to them about the IELTS result. This is a good achievement of our struggle that The London Visa office is not asking to provide the IELTS from SINP nominees and they also speed up the process.

In response to the documents submitted earlier, CIC London again requested IELTS result to be conveyed within 60-days.
So far, they are not considering that dicussion which is under processed with SINP

One of my known,s application refused due to non submission of IELTS.  His qualification was F.A and he could not sit for IELTS and relied on written submission although Visa Office London clearly asked him to provide IELTS.  He is refused becuase visa officer is not satisfied that he will be able to economically establish in Canada due to a lot of reason including lack of English proficiency, lack of employment experience, only one year etc.

So the persons who are advising on this forum, not to give IELTS because they had meeting with Immigration Minister should clearly take this matter as serious one and let the persons do IELTS who have received the instruction for submission of IELTS.

Dear all Allsalam O alikum

I hope you are all doing great with good health, the purpose of this e mail is to update you about the efforts and struggle of Coordination Committee, as you know CIC Visa office in London was asking to provide the IELTS results from more or less 90% of SINP Nominees (Family member Category), Due to tireless struggle and efforts of coordination Committee nominated by Pakistani Community of Saskatoon to Resolve the IELTS Issue, and cooperation and sincere efforts of Government of Saskatchewan and we have great achievement in this regards. Federal Government of Canada Immigration department Ottawa has released the Statistics to Coordination committee of  Pakistani Community according to that CIC Visa office in London has been reduced this Percentage and requested the IELTS from 36% of SINP Nominee from Pakistan Which is significantly less which they were asking before the efforts of Committee.

According to the statistics released by Federal Immigration Ottawa, by now; London has received 439 Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program PNP files since the transfer of economic files from Pakistan in April of this year.  Of these, 229 are currently in process.  Proof of language proficiency has been requested for 36% of the files screened to date – representing a total of 82 files.  Not a single application has been refused at this stage.  In addition, 18 applications are awaiting documents for visa issuance.
We are trying to resolve this issue permanently with the cooperation of Government of Saskatchewan and off course with the cooperation of Pakistani Community

I would like to say thanks from bottom of my heart to all Pakistani Community for their cooperation and I also would like to say thanks on behalf of Pakistani Community to Honourable Minister of Advanced Education, Employment, and Immigration Mr Rob Norris for his precious time, efforts and Cooperation, which he has provided on a personal level to resolve these important issues confronting our community, and we are really appreciate the cooperation and response of other officials of Government of Saskatchewan.

If you need any information regarding the IELTS issue you can visit the page of Face book (Pak Sinp) or send the email at the following address. I have request from all Pakistani community member if you receive any letter i.e. IELTS, from London Visa Office regarding immigration please update us and send the copy of the letters (you can erase the file number and name for confidentiality). Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Dear auhassan
You said in you post that they have received 439 applications from Pakistan. Does these 439 application includes the one who are also transferred from CHC Islamabad to CHC London or they are only those applications which are sent directly to CHC London? Please clarify

Dear auhassan
Thanks for the information. Actually none of the SINP or any other provincial and Quebec selected immigrant has got any kind of reply including medicals from CHC London but the applicants who applied directly to CHC london after March 2010 are getting medical papers. I think this is unfair coz the applicants of 2009 are waiting and 2010 applicants are getting medicals. I think this issue also has to be raised. And i am a quebec selected immigrant. Regards
