CAIPS is short for 'Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System'. It is the computer system historically used by Citizenship & Immigration Canada to process visa applications, and holds all the information on the current status of every immigration application being processed by overseas offices (i.e. those outside of Canada), other than new applications at offices which have switched to using the 'GCMS' system.

GCMS is short for 'Global Case Management System', and is a newer computer system that CIC are rolling out across their offices.

To order you can do it free if you live in Canada (I am not sure how) or you can use a service like the one below

though my status always shows Application Received and my address
is still missing (since Jan.27th).

can i ask a question plz can u tell me that u recieved ur medical by mail did they send any e mail to inform u or not or can we see it on our e-cas plzzz mussst reply?

cually me and my husband are out of town now adays for a year so i wanna know if my MR has arrive on my resedential address  so how i ill'be able to know? can i see it on my e-cas or im dependent on my inlaws to inform us
