there are 2 numbers you can use any one to check your status at ecas online.

1) UCI=UNIQUE CLIENT IDENTIFIER (8 digits xxxxxxxx)
2)APPLICATION NUMBER(start with Exxxxxxxxx)

Dear ZAKOUT76,

do you mean you also facing this type of problem? You can find UCI when you receive email from CIO for PER, in this email you can find your UCI. They wrote with very big fonts for your UCI and Application number. And also when you receive, your AOR letter from your visa office, you can find in this letter. THANKS.

Dear zakout76,

I mean when you receive your PER email from CIO, they mention UCI and application number in your email right? Or you can see in your 2nd AOR letter also. These are same numbers(I mean UCI number and application number from PER email from CIO and AOR letter). Hope better understand. ;-)). Nice day and Gd night.
