Any one's Address disappeared today 27th January 2012??

I think address disappearance has no meaningful relevance.

I am waiting for MR, My address disappeared in Dec  11 and is now missing since 27 Jan 12. On the first disappearance in Dec 11 nothing happened and just yesterday (31 Jan 12) I received a reply from  London VO that my background checks are in process and they cannot tell when they will be completed, therefore even this latest disappearance of address (Jan 27) means nothing.

dear address disappearance doesn't mean that u will always hear news like MR or PPR or change of status ..It means that some work is done on ur file (very little work it can be) that visa office received results of back ground checks or attached some documents to ur file or give u bring forward date or just that ur file was opened...

Even mine got disappeared on 28th jan after addition of the line medical results received.

I agree with cocknbull, the activity which ECAS address disappearance and show up after a short period seems like the breath of our files. I believe that VOs officer have to work on your file for a few times before they decide to send out MR or PPR. Each time they withdraw our file and work with it, we will see our address disappear and appear again. Therefore, during some critical state such as background check, i believe that our ECAS address have to " blinking" for a few time before we can get the final result.

You are right! I cannot access to Singapore Visa office website at this moment. However, I have no problem with cic.gc.ca website.

You can check my timeline under my character on the leftside of this forum. I received my PER email around 24 of Aug 2011 and then I received the 2 AOR on around 1 months later SEPT. They sent it to me by snail mail. However some of my friend did not receive 2AOR letter until now.

How about you my friend? Is your file belong to VO Singapore also? I guess you will receive 2AOR letter from VO about 1 month later and your ECAS status will change to RBVO around that time. Good luck guy.

thanks for the info.  I have not received 2AOR from VO as today.  My PER was received one month 11 days ago. But glad to know that someone is in the same shoes as I am....Same NOC, Same VO.

Well I don't intend to break anyones heart or pulling back ones hope but this is the following is a reply I got from my VO when I asked the reason behind address diappearance

"The website is not administered by Singapore office.  The website may take some time to refresh or meantime there may be some construction in the site too.  For these technical reasons we may not be able to reply your specify enquiry.  As long as the address in our system is your correspondence address, it should be fine."

Now you may all infer this statement as per your own but it seems like it has little or NO correlation with application progress!

Well I don't intend to break anyones heart or pulling back ones hope but this is the following is a reply I got from my VO when I asked the reason behind address diappearance

"The website is not administered by Singapore office.  The website may take some time to refresh or meantime there may be some construction in the site too.  For these technical reasons we may not be able to reply your specify enquiry.  As long as the address in our system is your correspondence address, it should be fine."

My address  also  dissapered  last week  and  yesterday in  my ecas appeared new info- WE STARTED PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION ON JANUARY 30
So ,address dissapering it is really  sign of some changing in our cases!
