Any one with NOC code 0213 with file transfered to New York

I believe that all of us in this thread are under NOC 0213 which has been removed from the new NOC list, which is in effect from 06/26/2010. Do you guys have any idea who the current job market is in Canada for NOC 0213? Good, bad or so..so?

Ottawa received the medical results today 07-Ju-01  @  01:16PM EST.

Few questions -

1. By when the status will reflect in eCas as "medical received".
2. What is the next step? Secrity check?
3. What is the approx time to get the PPR?

When they update the eCas for medical received? Once Ottawa receives it or when New York receives it? What does Ottawa do with the medical reports etc?

Last week I saw an update in my status. When I click 'In Progress', I could see that they have added a line 'Medical results have been received'. See when you are getting this.

Ecas is updated when NY receives the results. Ottawa does the first level of verification with your medical results. When I called Ottawa, I was told that they would be doing the verification and passing on the results to the corresponding visa offices in 1-2 weeks.

Guys, A good news...I have received PPR on 13-Aug-10. I am so relieved and happy about this.

But I guess, now the toughest phase starts... to find out a job in Canada in 0213 NOC. Any suggestion on job search while being in the USA?

I am an IT project manager as well and was looking forward to applying under Federal Skilled Worker Program - since the category NOC 0213 is no more available does this mean that Software folks wouldn't be able to apply under Federal Skilled Worker Program going forward or are there any other categories under which we can apply
