Any one with NOC code 0213 with file transfered to New York

Friends, I have noticed the there are few cases who have moved forward once the file was transfered to New York office from Buffalo. It seems to me that the movement happened in cases other than NOC 0213. I am initiating this thread to connect with members who have applied in NOC 0213 and file has been transferred to New York. Please respond to this thread.

My file was transfered to New York on 02/24/2010 and I have applied in NON 0213.

I have also applied for NOC 0213 FSW1.

I just got intimation today from my lawyer that CIC has transferred the file from Buffalo to New York office.

Their response is as follows:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

In order to expedite the processing of your application, your file has been sent to:

Canadian Consulate General

1251 Avenue of the Americas

Concourse Level

New York, New York 10020-1175

The Canadian Consulate General in New York will complete the analysis of your application and determine if a personal interview with a visa officer is required. Your file number remains the same.

The Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo no longer has your file. Therefore we cannot acknowledge or respond to future correspondence from you. Please do not submit any further documents or correspondence to this office. If IELTS or TEF test results are sent to us, they will be forwarded to the Canadian Consulate General in New York.

In the event of a change in your address, marital status or family composition, you must inform the office noted above. Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in New York.

Do not request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter.

All future correspondence you receive will be from the office noted above.

So far there is no update from New York visa office and i am still waiting for medical request....

I checked the status in eCAS and it says - Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 14, 2010.   

Hopefully I should get medical request in next 30 days.

Hi, I am also in the same status. My file got transferred from Buffalo to NY and now I got the medical request. I have taken doctor appointment for tomorrow. Hope everything goes well on time.

My eCas status says "Received by Visa office".
The details are as follows:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 6, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 28, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New York office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the New York office on October 6, 2009. The New York office may contact you.
 
We transferred your application to the New York office on April 27, 2010. The New York office may contact you.

I guess I should not have to wait for long before I get the meds request myself judging by both of your timelines..fingers crossed.

My case was transferred to New York and medical request was sent on June 17. Good luck, guys!!

Last week I saw an update in my status. When I click 'In Progress', I could see that they have added a line 'Medical results have been received'. See when you are getting this.

Good, complete your medicals without any delay. Medical results take upto 2 weeks to be sent to Ottawa and upto 2 more weeks to be sent from Ottawa to NY.
