Any one with Child Birth After getting Visa buy before landing.

Would like to get some insight from someone with experience or knowledge of a case where there was a PR visa issued but before the landing a child was born, can anyone advise what should be done in these circumstances.

You have to notify the office issuing the COPR as it is no longer valid.  You will have to submit an application to add the child, with the fee, a copy of the birth certificate and the biodata pages of the childs passports.  Then you wait until CHC sends you the medical request for the child.

Thankyou PMM. I hope this does not mean Filing a new application from the very beggining for the principal applicant & the entire family  & waiting for all those years again??

Also if you could tell me what is "COPR".

how long will that take? this doesn't mean filing a new application right?
