Hi first of All congratulation for the good news secondly did you get your passport back from the Embassy i wonder how they asked you to book a ticket, secondly did they ask you to cancel your residence Visa or not please let me know ?

Hi
Its strange to read that your ecas shows medical are received.
There is nothing such thing on my eCas. It only shows one line that we started processing your application on DATE.
Mr_Canada.... What about your ecas?
My E-CAS reads: we started processing your file on August 15th 2010. and the next line after that reads: Medical results have been received. I guess what e-cas reads for everyone is different..... |

from what i know and remember when i myself landed NO; u need to have already a permanent address which u'll have to give it to them when u land, they will send ur PR card at that address; they will ask u a few questions (nothing to be scared, just routine, to confirm that what they have already is correct) and give u the record of landing papers... if i were u, i'd prepare more for the winter weather: warm clothes good for snow and wind, boots, ... all the best for your new Canadian life |

dont the family class people landing in canada have to show POF? and if yes, in what form....?? bank statement sent by email from the bank if printed, would that be accepted?

hi mr-canada, i'm not sure if u need to show proof of funds (that's what u meant right?) since u r sponsored; the financial assessment of the sponsor was already done, long before the applicant gets the PR visa so it does not make sense that they would ask for it; i know the proof of funds is required for Skilled Worker class not the Family one and even there, it depends from officer to officer if they actually ask for it or not
to make sure, ask some senior members in a new thread

hello for those who live in UAE, can u please tell me to which Medical Practitioner u have done ur medicals? yes i know there is a list with all of them, but just wanted to know from past experience who's reliable and who's not...i'm worried about lost results, taking long time to be received by visa office, etc thank you for ur feedback; good luck!! |

I guess they are reliable. you can follow up with them if they already have sent the documents or if any concern you need to know about your medical exam
however their courier (first flight) is unreliable in terms of tracking the document =(
