ok great at least we can update eachother if there are new things from the embassy. currently my Ecas application status is on PROCESS. and i am waiting for their Request additional doc or PP

there is a separate thread for abu dhabi visa office applicants.... you both should get on to that thread..... it will be of help i think... look for abu dhabi processing times... under the family class section on this site... you shall get it ....

Hi,

Application transfer is we applied it from canada as outlander process so after the approval from CIC canada file will be transfered to the Embassy. so this is file transfer.

Hello abumawada and zeeshan,

i noticed that you have your AOR and then the file transfer.... how come you have AOR before file transfer? i was under the impression that AOR comes from visa processing office once the file is sent to them from Mississauga.... pls clarify....

i received a letter from CPC-M about my approval as sponsor and they said in the letter that the file is sent to the visa processing office - Abu dhabi. Now we are waiting for the letter from Abu dhabi to give us the file number....... and i was thinking that is hte AOR... am i thinking correct?

please lemme know if i m misunderstanding anything here...........

well you are right  AOR is Acknowledgment of Receipt i didn't  get letter from the abudhabi office, i got just the approval letter from CIC and it clarifies that the application is approved and it will be transfered to the visa processing office but after some times i checked the Ecas and was written application is in process and it started on May-4-2010 but i didn't recieve any thing from the Embassy yet.


so that means it is not AOR only file transfer.

just to update you that today i received an email. yes today on friday from abu dhabi office..with residency questionare form.

how did u chk ur status on ecas after having recd the approval for sponsor? i mean, i was under the impression that once you get the sponsor approval, which we can check based on the client id and it says decision made, and file transferred to visa processing office, we will have to wait for the file number to check for further progress and status of file after it reached the visa office.

But in your post you have said that after you got hte sponsor approval, you checked ecas which said "in process" pls tell me how did you check that as in what client identification did you use....

btw... zeeshan your good news has if nothing else atleast given us all abu dhabi applicants a moral boost.... hehehe
some thing we heard about some movement on at least some ones file in abu dhabi ... which i m sure has made a difference to many people here......

Everything to do with your application from the time it is approved to the stage a decision is made will be under your client id. It will be all in ecas. Further you go through the process, more ID's you get (i.e. client ID, File number) that relates to your file. But all you need to access ecas and follow the process is your client ID.

yea i am accessing it through my Client ID and it is working fine i was having mistake on the surname spelling that all the case.
