Oh no I lost my flight but Im trying to get another one. Yeah they received it on the 28th and got it back at the 15th. Good luck, I hope you and everyone else get their passports back as soon as possible. |

Great you got yours Dreamer. And sorry you missed the flight and had to rebook.
So it looks like I will be a 'Dreamer' if I am thinking I will get my passports back by Aug 25. (expecially considering there was a week lost in between to send new payment)
July 19: consulate received the application
Aug 3: consulate mails back about payment
Aug 10: Consulate received new payment
Sep 6 is the date I would get passports back if I go by Only-a-dreamer's timelines. I might have to add 1 week to that to acount for the payment delay. I have no idea if the closk resets when I send in new payment. Does anyone know?

Thanks, Autobhanzoom. Looks like the processing time has increased for those who submitted the application during June when compared to the may timelines. I submitted mine on July 28 and waiting......

I haven't seen anywhere that there is such a difference in processing times. However it might be logical to think that there is some minor difference considering the different set of paperwork they would have to review. All, can anybody please tell me if there is a difference in processing time for a work permit based TRV and other TRVs (student, visitor etc)?

I got a standard reply. "You application is under process. We are unable to provide specific status. If you need your passport, we can return it without the Visa." Not very helpful. No trackign info on the XpressPost envelopes. I am think of waiting until Tue and then reschedule my trip. Some change fee involved for the tickets, but I am helpless here. thanks, autobahnzoom.
