Guyzz, please let me know if any of you have received your PP submitted for TRV stamping to buffalo during June-July 2011? My file was submitted on July 19th 2011 at buffalo from Canada. Pls let me know when will i get my PP back? I am planning to visit my country during end of august and think I dont have any chances  Stressed and Depressed !!!!! |

I applied on July 28 through Fort Erie.It usually takes 45 days.

Same situation here.. July 19: applied to Buffalo from Canada (they received on this date) Aug 3: Consulate sent a letter stating I overpaid Aug 8: I got the letter and sent revised check Aug 10: They will get revised check by Fedex Aug 25: I am hoping to travel. (tickets booked already, based on original submission dates) Please post when you get yours.. Getting queries answered from consulate depends - everyones mileage appears to vary on that front. Some gets responses, some don't. I guess questions with obvious answers don't get a response for sure. There is no formal way of knowing if your application has been picked for processing. In my case I have a file number now since there was a problem and they mailed me. In my case it took 15 days for it to be picked up, but I dont' know how many days more they need to process once they receive the new checks. mine was work permit based, yes. Hi autobahnzoom,

Canada post tracking says my application arrived on Fort Erie July 7, 2011
I still haven't received mine yet...my flight to China is next Friday Aug 19th, 2011
am tracking my the express post envelop everyday, still shows no update...

It surely sounds like more than enough time...I will let you know when I receive mine, it's always the safest to buy tickets when you know for sure, I kinda regret buying tickets before I got the visa, and now if i dont receive it on time I have to pay about $300 to change the tickets dates... what??? howcome??? that's crazy!! are you going to buy new tickets? I bought mine from my best friend whose a travel agent, and Chinese travel agency has the best deals guaranteed, do you want her number? It's in Ottawa by the way, but she can sell tickets world wide... Actually...I wasn't able to delay my flight, all the money was gone...more than $1300
