Hi All, This thread is for all who have applied for TRV in May 2011 and are waiting for the visas to get stamped... Please share your timelines. My applcation reached Fort Errie on May 20.Still waiting....... Anyone else so that we can keep a track  ? |

just got email from them....what do you think? for some reason i dont think its visa  Dear Madam / Sir, We have recently sent you correspondence by regular mail to the address on your application form. We ask that you wait for the mail to arrive before requesting any further information. Mail usually takes 2-4 weeks to arrive. Canadian Consulate General Buffalo |

I got a reply from the consulate yesterday
Your passport ahs been returned on June 17 via Express post with tracking # xyz.
May be because of canada post delay: i still didnt receive it although I do not know the status.

I cant find exact forum to ask but I think this thread is good one to ask.
I was on study permit and had my visa stamped till 3 Sep 2011. However, now I have post graduate work permit and wish to extend my TRV so that I can move out of Canada and come back. Where should I apply and which form should I apply. Can you kindly give me the addresse/website. I have had troubles finding on internet

Just found this forum. My application was received in Buffalo on May 18th. And everytime I email them, the only thing i get is the generic reply that my application is being processed. I am due to leave for England in 10 days. I even sent them a UPS return label. |

I got a reply that my passport is returned and is waiting for the canadapost workers to pick up as they are on strike.

OK. I've officially given up on then, and I have asked for my passport back. I'll just go apply in person at the London consulate when I go to England. |
