This is a really late reply... but I'm new at this.  I'm getting married this summer to my fiancee in Kenya - and preparing for the spousal visa sponsorship any advise?

Hi CanadaGirl
I am currently waiting on sponsorship for my Kenyan husband. My advice to you would be to do the application while you and your husband are together in person because that way you don't have to wait 2+ weeks for the very slow postal system, that is assuming that you two are living apart as my husband and I have had to. I wish you two the best of luck and remember to take lots of photos!

Kristin thanks... I hope to go back to Kenya in September 2011 to get married then spend a few months there- so I guess we will send the application to Canada from Kenya as soon as we get married!!
