It usually takes between 7 to 12 weeks, but there are examples on this forum who got admission in less than 6 weeks. so it depends mostly on the amount of cases the department is dealing at that particular instance. The number of admission cases are higher near the deadlines. I have applied to Petroleum which also come under the domain of Civil department at Alberta.
When did you apply? is it course based MS or thesis based program?

My preliminary application got accepted on 1st of March, and they received my all documents on April 11.I have applied for thesis based course.

How long it will take to get admission in MEng., My preliminary application was approved within a single day that is on 15th April, and they received my documents at the end of April, 2012. What are the chances of admission? My profile is
B.E Civil with 70%
M.E Civil with 3.5 GPA
4.5 years of good experience
IELTS 6.5 (Although not required, I am exempt)

MSc in Internetworking from University of Alberta ... This program is not offered in Pakistan ...
I also got admit in MEngg Internetworking at Dalhousie ... I showed them that I only want to do MSc in internetworking ...

Got rejected by university of Alberta. My CGPA was 3.62. But i had no professional work experience this may be the cause for rejection.Lets hope this brings something better for me  |
