Hi guys,
Even if Nova Scotia already evaluated your application, the final say still rely in VO-Sydney because they are the one who will do checking and everything, I guess VO-Sydney was not satisfied about the justification made by your lawyer even if it was ok with Nova Scotia. Anyway, you can still ask your lawyer to sort it out and hope will be ok as your are almost in the final stage of your application.
For information to all, once your application status changed to reviewed and started processing, after 2 weeks I got the MR via post.
Hope all goes well in our application.

hiya, we received 2nd AOR last week (which is exciting), just wondering ecas still shows in process (we received you application on XX) and nothing else..is sydney VO very good at updating ecas?
if we received an AOR from sydney does that mean they have started reviewing? the AOR email didnt really say much so just trying to figure out where we are.
also if sydney VO asks for more information/updated documents before MR, do they email or snail mail this request.

Dear Whisnz
Congrats on your PER and good to know that you are moving ahead with regards to the processing.
Sydney VO is very realistic in terms of updating ECAS. Your visa officer will requst further documents from you if a need arises. Sydney VO mostly ask and deliver information through regular mail.

Wow, that's rather archaic me thinks. They are talking of streamlining their processes but they correspond via mail. I'm in Canada and mail here moves so slowly (comparing to NZ).....patience is indeed a virtue. I guess I'll keep looking out for the mail man. Cheers |
