In 2011 the FSW quota(visa target) is 340 for Sydney. IS it enough or not? You can have an idea from my time line... its nearly going to be 2 years.... 18 months since second AOR.... Frustrating still to be considered as fast track applicant... the CHC based processing time should be amended as its from last year (Q3-4) the average processing time being extended for FSW-1, firstly 18 months and now close to 2 years (hope it won't crossed further!!!).... However FAM and QSW, FSW-2 categories the processing has been still relatively faster.... I know the annual allocated quota for Sydney is not too much (may be few hundred) and I believe at the same time not too many applicants (like other CHC) supposed to be piled in(only 6 application under processing for post june 2010)... so what keeps and takes them so long.....No idea mate...We are not even getting responses on our case specific inquiries.... All seems dark around!!

In 2010 it was over 500... but not all of them were FSW-1 though!! (I might be wrong). The visa quota works per quarterly (total annual quota breaks up into quarterly)... already Q-1 one for 2011 has gone but not sure anybody in this forum (under Sydney CHC) someone got the visa... now probably Q-2 started and lets see.... Whether the number 340, for 2011 is enough or not depends on number of applicants and backlogs....But so far I know Sydney don't have a huge volume of applicants and backlogs like London, Singapore.... Lets keep our finger crossed. |

I had my medical done last October, sent two enquiry letters in Feb, no response, even auto reply. and the last letter they sent me said " I am expecting to be in contact with you shortly". that was in early Jan.

Hi we are in same boat and having some similar experiences in getting reply from CHC... Did you apply in Sydney CHC? Can you please share your time line to get more insight into......When did you notice your address to disappear in your E cas? Hope you will get your PPR soon...take care and all the very best |

Sydney CHC. My address disappeared on this Tuesday, and back on Thursday. This is the first time it happened. |

Fair enough... it seems you have all through a descent fast pace of processing in all the step towards except after the medical keep awaited a bit longer for PPR... like our another friend Dascaceldo has been waiting after the medical for more than 6 months....Mine is also already 4 months.. so I guess Sydney CHC are by some reason keeping our file on hold in queue and probably will start releasing in close succession but not sure when it gonna happen........ Lets hope for the sooner.... Disappearing and reappearing something in E cas probably indicating they are working on it to update... as recently Sydney CHC supposed to have completed with installing GCMS |

@ Fariza . Hey. Did u get any reply from cic regarding ur query. My address disappears on Tuesday and yesterday bt today it's allright . Till now No reply from cic regarding my case specific enquiry. On Monday I fax a "change of address" form to cic sydney.but no conformation whether they receive that fax or not. I don't know whether they update my new address in their records or not. Sorry if there is any mistake Bcoz m in train and posting this from my I phone. It's almost one week since I visit this forum Bcoz I was out of Melbourne for some work. Anyway good luck to all of us. Thanks.
