Yes JP is fine and acceptable within Australia as recognized body to certify docs. I did the same for mine

Don't worry mperei02,go for JP at your local Australian police station, They meet the Canadian standards of certifying copies.

Congrats Victoria on getting Med and PPRF req. Your time line seems very ideal for Sydney office (within the exact range of their stepwise processing milestones) but don't know why have some of ours taking so long (already 7 months past in process)..... I guess mine one due to NOC codes and interview!!

Pl keep sharing your medical experiences  and good luck for rest of processing. Hope you will get ur PPR soon

I have to say that I did get a response from CIC 4 weeks after medicals but not for passport request they need an additional document I'm going to submit next week but they confirmed that they got the medicals.

In trackitt there is a person who did the medicals the day before me and got the passport request last week.

What additional docs you requested to submit to CHC? Don't worry you will get your PPR soon. Sometimes they call in for interview after the medical and all these delays the process. But if you consider the security checks which might take few months to several months for some applicant (depends on TH) then getting PRR within 4 wks after medical still a lucky event!!

In process status...: June 2010 ( 5 weeks after 2nd AOR received)
Additional docs request: June 2010 ( 1week after status changed to In process )
Additional documents sent..: July 2010
Med's Request: July 2010 (  After 10 days from additional documents sent)
Med's Done....: August 2010
Interview........: Waived
Passport Req..: Sept 2010 ( After 4 weeks of medical sent)
VISA ISSUED...: Hope to receive tomorrow..I Guess!!!

Hi Fariza, in fact, the security checks went good except for one thing: I have a conviction I didn't know about. It is about a car accident with an injured person in 1.999. My family in Colombia did everything to gather the court documents and they are being translated right now. These documents are well and I'm not worried as I didn't omit the information on purpose. I will tell you the outcome later guys.

Hi Guys

Good day to all

Just need your suggestion i  send my applicaton on 13 april 2010 and received first aor on 25 july . I send my full documents on 19th august 2010 and i receive letter from  sydeny australia office on 10 september with another file number with e status that "  They are pending review"

Does it mean that it is not Second Aor just file number or It mean Second AOR Please guide

Congrats... ur time line shows you are lucky being 4131 to have the express ride throughout every step of your processing at Sydney CHC...(u can compare with my time line......)
Can you please share what additional docs you requested.... for? its great for you that within 10 days of add doc submission you got med req... usually the BF date expected not less than 6-8 weeks of such intervention.... Its been nearly 4 wks since I submitted my add docs but no sign of progress....Unlike you I am  not lucky and having  a very local and slow ride in every step of processing at the same CHC and  NOC.... Good luck for ur visa stamping soon...

 @  Adanibaba  the letter with new file number is the Second AOR for you... keep checking E cas using new given IMM file number as it will turn into In process soon.... good luck
