Guys...
I am in USA & have applied for Canada immigration. Reason for that is; I am on work permit, USA immigration takes very long time, I want to come out of work permit status and get settled in Canada with PR.
Just curious to know why people have applied from Australia when they could explore immigration in Australia? Is it takes much more time to have Australia immigration compare to Canada? Or you guys have different reasons?
Please share your view.

Let me start..I live in New Zealand and my visa office is in Sydney, Australia. So that is reason number one. Why not explore Australia? Nah, no desire. Too many flies and Aussies..hahahah, second reason. Why not stay in New Zealand? Well I immigrated to NZ from Switzerland 10 years ago, now I am ready to see a new place, third reason. Which brings us to Switzerland..why not stayed there full stop? Let me tell you, there is more to money, wealth and having a secure life, fourth reason.
So Canada it is because I can, my wife and I have no children, so it is not for them, it is for us. We have had a successful past and present, why not something new? Maybe in 10 years time it will be another place? Who knows? I have a Swiss and NZ passport.. third time lucky?? Canadian!
