My nephew had medical done in August/10. Still waiting for PPR from cic london (SINP catagory). Even provided IELTS in Feb/11. 2-weeks ago, they replied that the file is waiting for I/O's review. God knows...
Is there anyone who did medical before August/10, if so, what are the updates, please share. Thanks

Karachi,
Yes, medical was done in Aug/10 and ielts provided in Feb/11.
In fact, they asked ielts and medical at the same time in July/10. I tried "Proof of languange proficiency" to satisfy the need of ielts but they requested again for ielts in Nov/10. The time was given 45-days which I got extended as in Dec. only one ielts test date was available (because of Xmas holidays). They extended till Jan.11.
In sask. the families who are arriving these days tell that they provided 4.5 and even one gave 4 bland to cic. This is a good news.
Do you have any update.Huh?

Dear S.K,

Thanks for your response, actually I'm little bit confused about the outcome of the pending cases and they was they are being processed by CIC London office when it was cleary mentioned in the Nomination letter that the said office will only check inadmisibily, crimnality, security and health check. Why the CIC London asks for other documents that are actually not directly related to them.

I have send my application to  the CIC London Office, which have been received on 17-01-2011 since than I did not hear anything from the office. Yesterday, I get checked from the bank about the draft that I had enclosed along with, that was also still outstanding and has to be cleared.

Do you have any idea how much time will it take to be decided?

Thanks,

one case of my friend was sent to chc London in July 2010 in Jan, chc sent a e mail to him which was not received by the applicant and in last week again he received a email from chc London asking
1 Banks statement 2 Establishment plan 3 IELTS  and time to submit is 30 days, as chc state in theire e-mail that this is a reminder so you have only 30 days to sumbit all these things.

My sugestion is we should ready for four expected questions

1. IELTS test
2. Economiclly estabilish in Canada
3. Source of Funds
4. Proof of Funds

This may save applicant time when it will be asked. Normally the above question are being asked fro CIC London office in next stage of after submission of visa application.

Dear Karachi,

It can't be true, because in IELTS you can get 4.2 band because either 4 band or 4.5 not in between. You need to confirm it.
