No proof of fund is required at CIC level as your are a Provincial Nominee

Hi S.K, you are right it is not required generally and not even in check list and i didnt sent it either... but they asked me this at the time of medical.

not only proof but they also asked for the source of funds and the plan of economic establishment in Canada.

thanks,

Hi, you just need to mention what provincial stream you applied and got nominated for.

e.g. Alberta family stream
BC employer

etc.

good luck..

REGARDING SETTLEMENT FUNDS

I sponsored my nephew (residing in Pakistan) under SINP. His file is in London office now
His settlement funds I showed in Canada to saskatchewan government.
Any idea if London office will ask him as well to show settlement funds Huh or I should sent my bank statement in their response.
Any suggestion pls.

well, they asked from me at medical request even though that i am also under family stream...they even asked for source of income..
i personally believe that it depends on visa officer who is looking into the case rather than a policy matter.

How can the status of application be checked??
I have only the SK-nomination approval  number.
