i think you can convert prize bonds and deposit it in the account (but do it ASAP)... also get the evaluation of property done ...

the important thing is source of money.... you have to show that you are owner of this money and not borrowed it?

I just got medical request. they are asking Source of money, original degree and a letter to explain how would i established myself in canada. I want to ask from you that i do not have enough cash in my account, all i have is in prize bond, cash which i invest in some business. So if I convert all this in cash and put in  account, Is't fine? plus I also have some property in my name and notarized paper of this property i already sent to london.

Dear Fellow Members, I wanted to share some info which you might find relevant and useful, yesterday I met with a senior TCS Guy in Pakistan, I asked him about the traffic of correspondence from CHC London to the applicants in Pakistan, he said they have signed an agreement with CHC London after which they have started recieving correspondence from London, though the trafic is too low as compare to the one which they had from CHC Islamabad. He also siad that they first call the applicant and then deliver the mail after charging money, so no worries for change of address applicants. They are also trying to get permission from Govt of Pakistan for shipping Pakistani Passorts t UK, but so far no success.

Hi Karachi,

I would suggest you to get evaluation/calculate the worth of Price bonds, Car, Land, personal property etc. by a lawyer and submit true copy/notarized as a proof of sufficient funds. Explian them that once you get visa you will convert all these assets into cash for you initial settlement in Canada.
Well, they prefer to see CASH. but they never ask you to sale/convert your assets before you get visa. Hopefully, it will work. I suggest do not sale any property to show the money.

As of April 1, 2010, applications for permanent residence under the Economic categories for citizens or residents of Pakistan will be processed by our office in London, UK.  The economic categories are comprised of Federal skilled Workers, Federal Investors, Self-Employed, Entrepreneurs, Provincial Nominees and Quebec-selected Permanent Workers and Business People.  Although Islamabad will continue processing a few applications that are close to completion, the majority are being transferred to London.  The file transfer of existing permanent residence applications under the Economic categories is currently underway.

Your application has been transferred and will be processed in London, please be advised that our office will contact you when we are in a position to begin processing your application.  Please wait until this time before providing any new information relating to changes in your personal circumstances, additional dependents, new employment, education or new identity documents.  
At this point, it is too early to tell what the new processing times will be for these cases in London.  We regret that we cannot provide a schedule for the assessment of files and that our office cannot provide status updates at this time.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or email to the mailing address or email address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address or email address.  Please also notify us if you would like to withdraw your application.  For all other updates, wait until you are contacted by our office.

well you can check from the courier tracking if the documents are delivered. they will send the acknowledgment+doc request+medical in 2-3 months.

Below is the email address of CHC London where i sent my query

and i think Quebec selected applicants and Provincial nominees who sent their applications in 2009 to CHC Islamabad and whos files are transferred in June 2010 to CHC London are in the backlog including myself. Because 2010 applicants who sent their application directly to CHC London are getting medicals and PPR's.

lhr_montreal & Anipfamily thanks alot for ur help and kind wishes. i sent my documents on 30 sep, i check through fedex, they showed that a guard received a packet and i dnt know who that guard is, well in the end of this 2 months will complete then i will email them at the address given by lhr_montreal... i m still waiting for their response. GOD BLESS US ALL...
