hi all ,my wife is canadian citizen she did sponser me on september 2007 , everything wont ok she was approved they send my file to paris to work on my PR they started on my file 17 of january , they did ask for more information on february then i did send the document they asked for , since that day until this time nothing? i tried to get in touch whith paris office by mail by email they never ansewr ? IN CIC websit they say ( our priorty is to reunit familyes asp) but in realty it doe,t look like , my wife give birth to our boy in september 2006 in january she travelled whith our boy to algeria so i can see hime , they stayed whith me 6 month , then she wont back to canada in june 2007 to submitt my aplication so the point is i did,t see my family for 18 month do you think that paris office care that my family is appart all this time my son does,t even know his fathere he thinks he is inside a computer , i never wont to canada but i,m dispointed on this experience whith acanadian goverment , pls any one can help end our suffering we will be very gratfull , thank you

I'm sorry to hear about your case. I understand it's difficult to be separated. Since your application processing time has exceeded the average for Paris, I would recommend you to order the CAIPS notes for your application. It will take a few weeks to get them, but may give you an idea to why it's been delayed. Don't expect any response to your emails.
Google CAPIS notes or read some other posts on this forum on how to order them (and read the codes).

Here's how to order them
- actually your wife in Canada needs to order them and she will need you to sign a
Release of Information form
so that she can get all the information.

Married Sept '06 after 4 yr LDR. Applied via outland ap in March 2007 - refused Jan '08 due to inadmissible adult "dependent child". Appeal filed Jan '08; still waiting for resolution.
