Any official time frame to stamp passports?!

 Hi Bros and sis,
 I got passport request from CHC Beijing on April 21st 2010 and my passport reached CHC on April 26th , since then no news , no E status updated to Decision made , well am kind of worried because i thought by now ( 12 working days passport spent at the CHC) there should be some change , am worried
Does CIC have a timeframe for passport stamping? any possibility of rejection? am so tensed especially am living in a foreign country where i almost always need my PP.
Any comments ? please..

we are almost on the same boat..I sent my passport to CHC London last may 1 and received by them on may 4th. till now no change in e-cas whether medical results received nor to decision made.....i wonder when i will receive back my passports with a maple-leaf visa stamped on it...please do keep us posted once u received it...

what is ur VO? and from where did u send ur pp? thanks!

I am on the same boat. The Tokyo visa office requested PPR and RPRF fees on the 28th of April. Passports reached on the 30th of April. Since then waiting. It doesn't say "DECISION MADE" yet. Keep checking my ECAS status everyday.

Really? I submitted my passport 5 months ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and still waiting.Ecas permanently on "in process" mode. Yes it's not easy waiting for a Decison to be made. It's like watching your finger nails grow long!!

I don't really understand , if the officer is not ready to issue the visa , why does he ask people to submit their passports , A pp is a very important document right now i am unable to make any financial transaction out of here coz i got no PP , that s fustrating , they should ask for pp when they are ready to stamp , then stamp and send them right back , those are some
people's ID as they live in another country different from theirs.
Really hope things will move soon am getting mad.

Exactly we have the same time frame and same VO office,i did send my passports on may 1 and received by london office tuesday the 4th,ive been checking my ecas continuously and still no news,lets keep in touch to know whenever you hear from them and i will do the same.

 HEYYYYY i just read my E case status , it has changed to " Your application has been finalized" !!!
I am relieved now , to God be the glory i am expecting my PP next week ! hope everything will be fine!

Dear ALL,

I am also frustrated now....i sent my passport in feb2010 to CHC London....no status changed and no answer coming from CHC London.
As i am living in KSA ,PP is always with the company...hope CHC London will wake up and issue VISA.
I think, they ask PP only when everything is complete.

I am surprised that Canada needs people and they are saying that thousands of people are migrating every year.But i observed that in last few months very few people got their Visa FROM LONDON OFFICE. if really they are issuing so many visa every year.....then daily they should be issuing hundreds of them.

Today, my e-cas status changed to decision made...what about yours? I am hoping that in the next coming days my passports will be in my hands with the stamped on it..thanks God!

Congratulations buddy! By the way,did you first have to fill the updated immigrant chart (UIC) before beijing office issued you the PR visa? I mean like after presenting all your documents,Medicals and RPRF...did you have to fill some kind of immigrant summary form just before your PPR?
