  Confusion, Confusion Confusion

 In my earlier post, I have mentioned that I had collected all the police reports before I applied at NS. After i got my AOR, I found out that the police certificates are valid for just three months. Since, all of the police certificates were collected around September-October peroid of last year and my second application to NS was delivered on 17th of November, I was convinced that my police certificates were all expired. Today, i went to the BCA and did the finger printing, send it to DPS of TEXAS, made new one for the State of MN,  Send it to FBI which cost me around 150 dollars.

 Just now, when i read the complete Aplication process, i found out that CIC has stated "When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO" which means my police certificates are still valid as these certificates are lesser than three months old when i submitted my application to CIO. Can some seniors clarify me on this?Am i correct this time?


also, if I am correct then  all of my documents are ready except the IELTS; i have registered it for March 6th as there are no earlier dates. Can i send my complete application stating i will not take IELTS (I will explain the proficiency of my english through other ways) and then when i received my score send it back to the VISA office stating that i have changed my mind and to be in the safe side i decided to take it .

any thoughts.

With or wirhtout IELTS?

I have applied under NOC 4121 and have just received AOR email. But I can't take IELTS before 20th feb 2010. result of IELTS wont come before 2nd week of march. I was wondering whether I should send my full application without IELTS because i just need 4 points in English proficency. All my Education BS in Engineering and MS in Engineering has been in english. I am teaching in a university from last two years and medium of instruction is English. Should I sent a full application stating all these facts for getting 4 points for English, I will also mention that I am taking IELTS on 20th january and if need be I 'll send my IELTS score in march. What do you guys recommend, Should i wait for 1 and half month and send my full application with IELTS score or should I sent the full application now for speedy process. 
 
 
 

Hi,

If you only need 4 points in the language scale factor, references letters on your proficiency in English will be enough to get you the intermediate score, which is 8 points.

It will be good for you to get a professional reference letter and a work experience letter that focus on your skills and abilities with this language.

Hi,
It means that if your police report within 3 months of the date when you sent your application to the CIO than you don't need to obtain another one – in other words, it could be older than 3 months on the date when you're sending it to CIC.
Furthermore, you don't need to send state police report unless they have asked for it (read the first paragraph here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp).

no news still for me  beginning to panic
