what happenned guys, no update in last 2days. no one recieved AOR in these two days.

am hoping that you all receive their AOR quickly so that they start sending AORs to December applicants like me!

yes, so the statistics show that it takes 2 moths for getting AOR after CIO receives it. I am Jan 2010 Applicant. Sent on 18th. Good luck you all.

why are you feeling so lucky for them who got AOR?
Doesnt AOR is received by all who have sent initial app to CIO?
What are the conditions that CIO never sends AOR ?

  My first application was returned back to me as I have forgotten to put N/A on one space. One of my freinds application was returned back for now writing enough on job description. Another one of my freinds application was not only returned but was rejected in the basis of job description that he had sent.

Getting AOR is clearly passing the first hurdle and that's the reason why we all are congratulating others who have received AOR. It is one way to show appreciation  of other success.

For the reason of feeling lucky; i have seen some of my freinds who have stated that they have missed something on application but stil havel received AOR; I personally believe that's the good luck of them as the people who examined these documents could clearly returned back these applications.

MDwivedi, my pleasure. By the way, as Laxmikanthms mentioned in his message to you, you don't have to withdraw your application. You can do your best or, write an explanation letter to the Visa Officer stating your difficulty obtaining the PCC. Even I lived in Nepal and I know its going to be next to impossible obtaining a PCC from this country. I am going to attach all the proof of communication I have that I used to obtain the PCC. I guess, that's all we can do. If we apply and we don't get it, I don't think we can do anything beyond that in our capacity. But, that doesn't mean we are not qualified to apply for PR. So, good luck to you.

Elar, thanks for updating your status. I noticed this couple days ago. When one of the member tried to update his status, he copied an outdated list, updated the info and pasted that as his post. I remember also seeing Riswanyounes received his AOR but, I think that also was removed when this member pasted an outdated list. For this reason, I really admire the October applicants. I should say they did a wonderful job in maintaining and updating the list. This list is really useful but, the key to making this a useful source of tracking application is by having a tight control over changes to the list. That way, the information will be accurate and the changes will be consistent. To do that, the list has to be handled by a very few controlled group of people or even just one maintaining the list will be beneficial for all. I hope you all would agree to my point. I know this forum was started by Knight but, have conversing with him for couple months now, I am very sure he wouldn't mind if one of us would be willing to do the dirty work. I don't mind doing this. Infact, I tried to do this couple times but, the output came up very bad and misaligned. I am going to try it again. If it comes up well, I would request all the forum users to leave the dirty job to me. Just leave the information in the forum. I will pickup and update the list. I hope everyone would agree with me. If there are any objections, please feel free to make a point.

I actually paid by bank draft. I was not sure when they received my application but then today I found the tracking number and it was delivered on 17th of November. I received the AOR at 06:22PM central Time.

AOR by Email:20th Jan
Visa Office: Hong Kong

My form was filled in my own handwriting with some extra pages attached.I did not write any N/As,just left the coloums blank.
