any new news about syria

i ve sponsored my wife since October 2010 and she lives in Syria, do any of you receive any new news about the applications in Syria cause the roomers now that the embassy is closing or reducing its employees.

did any body contact the visa section other than me and what did they told you

I wish I had insight for you - I have none. Just would suggest that you ask those in Damascus thread (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t51197.0.html)....if you haven't already, that is. That's a patient bunch. I hope they don't close it for your sake, though I understand CIC needs to look out for the safety of its workers too.

Don't worry the Damascus office is not closed and they are working as usual.
