Hi guys. Any of you experienced date of birth difference in Iranian and British passport? please help
We don't know how to prove the visa office that Iranian embassy can make mistake.
my husband's date of birth in British passport is 29/06/.. and in his Iranian passport is 01/07/..
Now Visa office wants a new police clearance and proof of date of birth?
What to do now?

Let him tender his birth certificate. That should be enough proof.

That could be your best opportunity considering the situation.
Use a good translator. Birth Certificate isn't a complicated document as such.

You need a certified translation into English and notarized if possible. Whatever the date on the certificate should be on the passport or you have a problem. From where the British got his DOB? you need to connect the dots and find out where the mistake is and prove it that is is merely a mistake.

It may not be just a mistake. Depending on what year you are in, conversion from Persian calendar to the Christian one might show a one day difference. I guess the officers will understand this if you explain.

hi This is something that must be approved legally, so there is one way. Translate your husband's birth certificate and those pages of his parents birth certificate that testifies your husband's date of birth. This is the strongest way ,I think. Wish you all the best
