Alberta releases the Wage & Salary survery on the Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS). This lists the average salary for occupations in Alberta.

No job is ever recession proof. Some occupations are more resiliant than others, but it's situational. Labour market demand can change weekly depending on employers and conditions locally, provincially and internationally.
