Dear Friends
I am one of the old 2007 applicant from London -UK and now waiting for medical, my wife has been diagnosed with chronic Leukemia just 6 days ago!. I have got 2 kind of replies about the medically inadmissible person of the family: some people suggest that this is excessive demand and the whole file will be rejected which will be destroy for a big dream and loss of much money and effort?! A lawyer told me that there is excemption for wife on excessive demand but I do not want to go behind him becuase I think this is for family sponsoership category only not the Federal Skilled Immigration?
I could not find any thing about medically inadmissible cases, who determine the excessive demand? and  how I can find any solution?
Thanks for your help

Read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op15-eng.pdf  for excessive demand.

Hi drspecialist,

Its been a while i know, and while I was browsing thru this forum, i stumbled upon your post. I am pretty much in the same boat as you , we did our medicals just this august , my wife's quite didnt make it so she will go for further tests (she has thyroid cancer). Would you be kind enough to share what happened to your application? I wish your wife improved health and your family, peace of mind.
